Now that you have decided to purchase a home or refinance your current mortgage, you can count on The Coker Team at Directions Equity Home Loan to guide you through this complex process.

There are four main steps involved in getting a loan.

Step one: Decide on your maximum loan amount

Tell us your payment comfort zone, and we'll make sure your financial profile will fit into one of the current mortgages available. 

Step two: Pre-qualify for your loan

This is where Directions Equity will begin saving you money. You will provide info on your current job, assets, and residence history. We will get your credit report and score (only after you give your permission, of course). After we've finished reviewing your financial profile, we'll suggest the best loan type to meet your goals, and provide you with a pre-qualification letter. This letter will allow your REALTOR® to negotiate the best deal for your new home. The pre-qual letter gives you buying clout!

Step three: Apply for your loan

After you've made an offer and the sellers have accepted, it's time to apply for the loan. It's very easy, and you can apply online, right here on our site. You will probably have an "option period" during which you will order home inspections.  After you are satisfied with the condition of the home, we'll order the appraisal. 

We'll coordinate with the title company to make sure the sellers can deliver you a clear title.  Once the loan is cleared to close, we'll help schedule the closing, and we'll let you know what amount to bring to the closing table in the form of a certified check. We will attend the closing, along with your Realtor, just to make sure there aren't any other questions you need answered.

You've answered a few questions, provided detailed information, applied, and before you know it, you will be moving in! We take care of all the loan details so you can spend your time finding the new home that's right for you.
